So you lead with the lead magnet and you have to email them, obviously. Do you just email them both the lead magnet and a link to the VSL? Or do you have any recommendations on the first email you send after the opt-in via the lead ad? Yeah. First of...
So you lead with the lead magnet and you have to email them, obviously. Uh, do you just email them both the lead magnet and a link to the VSL? Or do you have any recommendations on the first email you send after the often via the lead ad? Yeah. And so, first of all, if you have a VSL and it's educational, then your, that can be the video itself.
Yeah. Um, so let's do some drawing. All right. Let's get fancy. All right. And then somehow I always to screw this up, so maybe I can stop. I can not screw it up or I stop share. Come on Frankie. You can do it. All right. Whiteboard. Does it as a whiteboard showing up with the new whiteboard dignity. Okay. So guys, my penmanship and art is artistic abilities.
I've never been good, but it will be significantly worse. And I'm trying to use my mouse to draw. Um, and on top of that, getting arthritis in both hands. Yay. Um, so that's fun, right? So here's the deal. You got your lead ad, right? So this is the lead ad they opt in here. They see the thank you page or not right?
Email number one. That's a big email. Um, what I would like to do, if let's just say you got PDF and video sales letter, I'm assuming the following statement is true. Say here's a PDF. And here's a video that accompanies it, that goes more in depth. Right. And so what I'm going to do here, and I don't know why I made all of that so small.
Um, but what I'm going to do here is I'm going to track whether or not they click this. Right. And so first email I've delivered promise here's the PDF. My mission is to get them to click this VSL. And so now, like an any email system and fusion soft Kartra active campaign convert kit, whatever, you can have a set up campaign where there is a goal, meaning let's send people emails and stuff until this goal is reached.
Right. And so in this case, if the goal was. Click VSL.
This is our mission, right? I would have a series of emails going out to these dudes. I do like two emails a day for four days. Driving people to this VSL right here. Right. And then there's other stuff you can do as well, which we'll go into optimization and maximization of your sales process on, I think it was Wednesday.
I can't remember. I'm pretty sure it's Wednesday, but this is the thing that you want to do. And I have this thing, I call it the wall or the wall of Mets or the law of damage, which States that most people won't. So most people who opt in are not going to immediately go quick to PDF. Um, and if the PDF, isn't the thing that's doing the selling, you don't care, but most people who get this email right here.
They ain't going to click that damn VSL, right? It doesn't matter how great the email is, could be the best for you to settle in the world. It could be David Ogilvy coming back down from the heavens, pitching your product. Doesn't matter. Most people who click the VSM, aren't going to do what you want them to do.
Otherwise you'd have a 51% conversion rate and be a miracle, you know? And so if we know that, then you just have a little sequences to sort of move people down the chute. So to speak and that's, that's how you do it. It's the long answer to a simple question, but then what are you giving me something vague, you know, but very simple to do, very simple to build no problem though.
Cool. You know, it gets serious when you get boxes and arrows boxes. So this is like the digital napkin. Would you say that this is the best way to provide people? The videos I'm just answering? Because it's like a compounding question. Yeah, totally well there's, there's multiple ways to do it, right? So you can also some people to a landing page, an opt in page where the thank you page shows the video immediately.
Um, and so you could do that as well, and then depending on your ultimate cost per action, which is your cost per sale. Cool. All right. So let's say you've got method, dammit. Clear all drawings. There we go. Okay. So method number one. Is lead form. All right. And then click sequence,
a bunch of emails driving them to that VSL. So day number one, here's your PDF. And then day number two through five or whatever. Hey, go watch the video. Go watch the video right to BSL. This is method number one, and then they purchase. Okay. Approach number two is add regular old like conversion ad, right to opt in page web page.
All right, the thank you page is the VSL.
We're going to assume most don't buy. So you might put a countdown sequence here. Okay. And this is the target at the end of the day, the only possible way to know which is better. And there's no blanket answer is to do both and see. What your cost to have this happen is which one's lower. And also, depending on your level of hardcore illness and how hardcore you've maximized your after quick experience, you might find that even though this.
Could potentially be more expensive if everything's maximized because you're getting cheaper leads here in the long-term. This is better at, um, no, I'm not giving you a direct, here's exactly the right answer. And the reason I'm not doing that is because it would be malpractice of me to do that. Like, I can't do that because there, this is answer's gonna be different for every single person who tests it.
And there's so many variables, you know? Um, but this would be in my opinion, the least technically difficult thing to do because you don't have to build the opt-in page. You know, so like now you've got at least a really quick start, then you're just sending emails and then you have that hard, you know?
